Stockport Council have been successful in being shortlisted as a finalist in the Digital Leaders 100 Awards Smart Cities category. To reach the shortlist, Stockport Council have demonstrated technology-led initiatives, such as, the all age living campus, pioneering approaches to data science, and technology enabled health and social care programmes using the internet of things.

The nomination also recognises the way we are engaging citizens and communities to help make the most of the new digital opportunities, including our “Digiknow” digital inclusion alliance that has already supported over 8,000 residents to become online citizens with the skills to engage in the digital world.

A public vote is now open to determine the top 3 finalists. We would be grateful if you would vote for us in the Smart Cities category at: www.digileaders100.com.
